donations

donate to seeds of learningBy contributing to Seeds of Learning you can become part of Pagosa’s future and save money at the same time. In addition to Seeds of Learning being a 501(c)3 organization (thus qualifying it as a tax-exempt organization) it also qualifies for the Colorado Child Contribution Credit.* This means that HALF of your donation can be credited toward your Colorado Income tax – up to $100,000 per year. Your federal income tax credit may also be as high as 35%, depending on your tax bracket. This means that you may actually save money by giving to Seeds of Learning!

*COLORADO CHILD CONTRIBUTION CREDIT CONDITIONAL AVAILABILITY

Beginning in 2011 the availability of the child care contribution credit for a given tax year will be contingent upon sufficient revenue growth for that year. If a credit cannot be claimed for the tax year in which it accrued because sufficient growth is not expected, it may be claimed for the next tax year for which a sufficient growth is anticipated. The availability of this credit for any tax year beginning subsequent to December 31, 2010 will be posted on the Colorado Department of Revenue’s Web site once it has been determined.
