These members are a group of dedicated supporters who have made a future financial commitment to provide affordable high-quality early childhood education to a diverse population of young children in Pagosa Springs for generations to come.

Membership is easy. No immediate donation is necessary. You simply need to name Seeds of Learning as a beneficiary in your trust, will, insurance policy, foundation, or donor advised fund. Unlike naming a person as a beneficiary,  your bequest to Seeds is tax exempt.

We would love to publicly acknowledge your commitment, or your gift can remain anonymous.

4 Quick & Easy Steps to Make a Lasting Legacy

Some people prefer the increased flexibility that a beneficiary designation provides by using IRAs and retirement plans, life insurance policies, and commercial annuities.

It only takes four simple steps to make this type of gift. Here’s how to name the Seed of Learning as a beneficiary:

  • 1.      Contact your retirement plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution for a change-of-beneficiary form.

  • 2.      Decide if you would like to leave Seeds the entire amount, a percentage (1 to 100), or specific dollar amount.  Then name us, along with the percentage or amount you chose, on the beneficiary form.

  • 3.      Return the completed form to your plan administrator, insurance company, bank or financial institution.
